Pune: Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao has urged all concerned in Pune, Satara, Solapur, Kolhapur, and Sangli districts of the Pune Division to implement the “copy-free campaign” to avoid any kind of malpractice in examination centers during the upcoming 10th and 12th board exams. The aim is to make the Pune division a model for the rest of the state.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is set to conduct the Higher Secondary Certificate (12th Class) examination from February 21 to March 21, 2023, while the Secondary School Certificate (10th Class) examination will be held from March 2 to 25, 2023.

The copy-free campaign will involve coordination between various government departments to prevent malpractices at examination centers during the exam period. Students, parents, teachers, and administrators will be addressed in this regard, and public awareness will be created about the campaign. To ensure a smooth and safe environment during exams, vigilance committees have been appointed department-wise and district-wise.

The Divisional Commissioner has stressed the importance of implementing the campaign successfully, given the importance of the 10th and 12th exams in students’ lives. He has also appealed to local people’s representatives to cooperate with all units to make this campaign a success.
