Pimpri: Society owners in Dudulgaon were facing financial burdens and mental stress due to inadequate drainage infrastructure. In response to this, Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Mahesh Landge filed a complaint through the ‘Change Helpline’. Work on the drainage line began within 24 hours. As a result, approximately 800 families have received relief.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation included Talwade, Chikhali, Moshi, Dudulgaon, Chovisawadi, Vadgaon, Charholi, and Dighi villages within its limits in 1997. The urbanization process was completed swiftly. However, essential amenities were not constructed in these areas.

Since 2014, MLA Mahesh Landge has taken up the agenda of inclusive village development. After BJP came into power in the municipal corporation in 2017, efforts were made to implement basic amenities in these areas. Consequently, the ‘Chikhali-Moshi-Charholi Residential Corridor’ was developed. Nevertheless, drainage line works have not yet been completed by the municipal administration.

The main drainage lines were not connected to societies such as Indrabhumi Society, Nath Residency Society, Ravitej Society, Magic Society, Mangalam Paradise Society, and Mangalam Signature Society in Dudulgaon. Society owners lodged complaints with MLA Mahesh Landge’s ‘Change Helpline – 9379909090’. Immediate action was taken within 24 hours to initiate the work. The absence of drainage lines had created issues such as urban health and unpleasant odors. The ground-breaking ceremony for this work was attended by labor leaders Sachin Landge, Yogesh Talekar, Vikram Hile, and society representatives.

In the electoral alliance of Bhosari Vidhan Sabha, various society owners are actively trying to address the core issues. Problems such as roads, water, drainage, garbage, and urban health have been prioritized for resolution. Citizens are informed that the ‘Change Helpline – 9379909090’ is acting vigilantly. Definite action is being taken on it. The determination for the development of inclusive villages is steadfast.
