Pune News: Ganpati Festival At Amanora Park Town’s Victory Towers: A Joyous Celebration Of Culture And Unity
Amanora Park Town’s Victory Towers witnessed a vibrant celebration of Ganpati Festival this year, filled with eco-friendly practices, cultural performances, and community spirit. The event was smoothly conducted by Victory Towers Mitra Mandal, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.
The festivities began with the unveiling of a beautiful eco-friendly Ganpati idol, crafted with care to promote environmental awareness. The idol, made of biodegradable materials, set the tone for a celebration that was both festive and responsible.
One of the key highlights was a skit performed by teenage residents depicting the life of Lord Ganpati. Their performance captivated the audience, blending devotion with creativity and offering a meaningful insight into the deity’s significance.
Adding to the charm was a Walk of Elegance, where the evergreen ladies of the society showcased India’s rich cultural diversity. Dressed in traditional attire from different regions, they walked with grace, highlighting the beauty of Indian sartorial heritage.
The festival was a delight for children as well, with a costume party that saw young kids dressed up as various mythological and cultural figures. Their innocent enthusiasm brought smiles to all.
The community came together for a lively musical night, where both children and elders sang and danced, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. The musical beats echoed throughout Victory Towers, symbolising the unity of generations.
In a unique and touching gesture, the aarti was performed by the housekeeping staff and Security guards, acknowledging their essential contribution to the society. This inclusion was deeply appreciated by all residents, reinforcing the sense of community.
The final day of the festival saw a massive dhol tasha performance as part of the Visarjan procession. The thunderous beats of the drums energised the crowd as they bid farewell to Lord Ganpati. Unlike traditional Visarjan in rivers or lakes, Victory Towers performed the immersion in a handmade pool, thoughtfully created by the committee members to ensure an eco-friendly farewell.
The nights were filled with excitement as residents participated in Tambola games, with laughter and cheer filling the air. Adding to the festive atmosphere were stalls offering tasty homemade delicacies prepared by the residents, showcasing their culinary skills and making the event truly special.
The Ganpati festival at Victory Towers this year was not just a celebration of faith, but a demonstration of unity, inclusivity, and a shared commitment to the environment, all smoothly coordinated by the volunteers of Victory Towers Mitra Mandal.
