Pune News : Hearing for Mahalunge-Maan Town planning scheme starts from March 1

Pune: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has announced that a hearing process for farmers whose plots will be included in the Mahalunge-Maan Town planning scheme will be held at the PMRDA office in Akurdi. The hearing has commenced on March 1 and is set to continue for the next two months.

Over 5,800 farmers, whose 250 hectares of land will be included in the town planning scheme, will be given an opportunity to attend the hearing in person or through the post office. The authority has sent a special notice to the landowners with the details of the hearing, which are also available on the official website, www.pmrda.gov.in.

Shivraj Patil has been appointed as the arbitrator for the hearing process, and concerned persons present at the PMRDA office on the scheduled date and time will be heard. The hearing process aims to provide basic amenities and developed plots to the farmers whose land will be included in the town planning scheme.

Ramdas Jagtap, Deputy Collector of PMRDA, emphasized the importance of this hearing process in accordance with the law. “As per the law, the hearing will be conducted for the farmers whose plots will be developed under the town planning scheme. We give them information about the plot that will be developed and then allotted under this town planning.”
