Pune News: Hinjawadi Phase 2 To Laxmi Chowk Road Now Open, Promises Traffic Relief For Commuters
Pune, July 3, 2025: In a significant move to ease traffic woes, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has initiated the process to reopen the long-encroached and closed stretch between Hinjewadi Phase 2 – Wipro Circle to Marunji Laxmi Chowk for vehicular traffic.
The reopening drive, which began on Thursday, is being carried out under the guidance of PMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase, in coordination with multiple departments.
This crucial step is expected to provide major relief from traffic congestion for local residents and IT professionals commuting daily in the area.
