Pune News: Overspeeding car kills small puppy in Mohammadwadi

Pune: An overspeeding car near Euriska Society in Mohammadwadi killed a small puppy on Wednesday morning. The entire incident was captured in CCTV cameras installed in a nearby area. 

As per information from the people who witnessed the incident, a car, travelling at an alarmingly high speed, lost control and swerved onto the sidewalk where the adorable puppy was playing. People from nearby societies rushed to help the injured puppy and animal welfare organizations were alerted as well. However, the puppy succumbed to injuries while being taken to a veterinary hospital.

The incident has sparked outrage among the residents of Kondhwa, who are now demanding stricter measures to curb reckless driving in the area. They are calling on the local authorities to install speed bumps, increase traffic surveillance, and enforce speed limits to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.
