Pune News : Pay your MSEDCL bill online and get upto ₹ 500 discount
Pune: The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has announced a discount of up to ₹ 500 for customers who pay their electricity bills online. The move is aimed at promoting online payment and eliminating the need to stand in long queues at payment centers.
To encourage more customers to switch to online payment, MSEDCL is offering a cash-back of 0.25 percent or a maximum of Rs.500 for low pressure electricity consumers who pay their bills online using credit/debit card, UPI, BHIM, internet banking, or mobile wallet.
Nishikant Raut, MSEDCL PRO, said, “The scheme, which was announced three years ago, has already benefited many electricity consumers. By paying their bills online, customers can not only save time and avoid queues, but also receive a cash-back on their monthly electricity bill.”
Instead of standing in a queue at a bill payment center or paying the electricity bill during office hours, MSEDCL has made it possible to pay the electricity bill at home and 24 hours through ‘online’. For this, the website www.mahadiscom.in and mobile app are available for domestic, commercial and industrial and other low pressure customers. Therefore, it is possible to pay more than one electricity bill ‘online’ from a single registered account and to save the details of monthly bills of all electricity connections and the receipt of payment in the computer or mobile phone.
