Pune News : Power supply of 18,500 MSEDCL consumers remains disrupted
An unidentified person set garbage lying on the nala bridge near Nanded city gate on fire which led to power disruption for about one and half hour in Kirkatwadi, Khadakwasla, Nanded Gaon, Khadakwasla, Vadgaon Khurd, Dhayari on February 14.
Three power supply lines of 22 kv capacity were affected led at two sub divisions. The nala near Nanded city bridge has heaps of garbage lying unattended which was set on fire by an unidentified person around 8.15 AM on February 14. The fire burnt the power lines which kept 18,500 consumers without power for one and half hour.
Fire Brigade was called in to extinguish the fire after which the additional executive engineer Kalyan Giri, assistant engineer Sachin Ambawale and others worked on restoring the power supply. The incident has caused a loss of Rs one lakh fifty thousand to MSEDCL. A case was filed against unidentified person in the police station.
