Pune News: School Van Driver Accused of Harassing Schoolgirl, Case Filed Under POCSO
Pune:A shocking incident has surfaced in Pune, where a school van driver has been accused of harassing a schoolgirl. The accused allegedly sent inappropriate messages, including “I like you,” and harassed her both in person and on social media platform Instagram.
The girl reported the ongoing harassment, leading to the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act at the Deccan Police Station.
In response to the incident, members of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), under the leadership of Ganesh Bhonkre, took swift action. The driver was confronted and beaten by MNS members before being handed over to the police.
This incident has raised serious concerns about the safety of young girls, following a similar case recently reported in Badlapur. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
