Pimpri: Pimpri-Chinchwad city is gearing up for the festival of colors, Holi, with great enthusiasm. The North Indian community settled in the city for business and work also celebrates the festival every year in a traditional manner, doubling the happiness by freely splashing colors.

To commemorate the festival, a cultural program called ‘Holi Milan’ has been organized by the Shree Gupta and Jaiswal All India Foundation, Hanuman Mitra Mandal at Kalbhornagar, Chinchwad.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, 8 March, at the Season Banquet Lawn, Durganagar Chowk, Yamunanagar, Nigdi from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm.This event has been specially organized for the North Indian community members and promises to be a fun-filled evening with various activities such as cultural programs, songs and music, delicious food, and games for children.

The organizers, Vijay Gupta, Jitendra Gupta, Devanand Gupta, Vakil Gupta, Umashankar Gupta, Ashok Gupta, and Shubham Sarpale, have appealed to the community members to participate in large numbers.

Tickets for the event are available until 7 March, and the organizers urge the community to make the most of this opportunity and celebrate the festival together. The ‘Holi Milan’ event has been a popular cultural program in the past, and this year’s edition promises to be even more enjoyable and exciting.

“We are organising the holi events from last six years to a particular community. As the event was not held for last three years due to the outbreak of Covid pandemic, this time we are conducting the grand program,” said Vijay Gupta, one of the organisers of the event.
