Pune News : Student threatens friend using mother’s morphed picture in Yerawada

Pune: The incident involving the creation of a fake Instagram account by Class 10 students on a friend’s mobile, where they used only the face of the friend’s mother to create a nude photo, followed by blackmailing the friend into sending a nude video clip by threatening to make the photo viral has caused fear among the parents and students of the school.

Although the friend who owned the mobile was detained and admitted to giving it to a friend, no action was taken by the police and no FIR has been registered against the individuals involved, even though two months have passed since the incident.

The school’s principal confirmed that the incident indeed occurred in the 10th-grade classroom. The mother of the girl who was victimized filed a complaint with the school. Efforts were being made to expel the child responsible for the incident from the school. Nevertheless, influential individuals have applied pressure, resulting in the child not being expelled. The police are aware of this situation, yet, astonishingly, they have not initiated any action.

As per the information received, the school principal reported that the student and the victim girl are being intimidated by their classmates, confusing the matter.
