Pune News : Sub-registrar offices in Pune will remain open on Akshaya Tritiya
Pune : Sub-registrar offices will remain open on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, directed by Inspector General of Registration and Stamp Control, Hiralal Sonawane. The move comes as citizens typically feel inclined to buy and sell real estate on this day.
Orders have been given to the Joint District Registrars of all districts to determine which offices will remain open. In Pune city, there will be five secondary registrar offices that will remain open on April 22nd and 23rd.
The Sub-Registrar Office at Siddhi Tower Dapodi Haveli no. 17 and Yugai Mangal Hall at Erandwane will be open from 1 PM to 8.45 PM. Meanwhile, Yugai Mangal Hall Erandwane with Deputy Registrar Haveli no. 21 & Siddhi Tower Dapodi with Associate Sub Registrar Haveli no. 25 will be open from 7.30 am to 3.35 pm. Additionally, the Joint Sub-Registrar at Government Photo Registration Office Building No. 23 will remain open from 9.45 a.m. to 6.15 p.m.
The decision to keep certain sub-registrar offices open has been made based on the demand of citizens, who often feel the need to engage in real estate transactions on the day of Akshaya Tritiya.
