A high-level meeting was held at Mantralaya, Mumbai, between a delegation of the Petrol Dealers Association, Pune and the Labour Minister of Maharashtra, Adv. Akash Fundkar.

The meeting focused on several important and long-pending issues related to the petroleum trade and matters connected with the Labour Department.

The interaction was arranged at short notice, reflecting the seriousness with which the state government is treating the concerns raised by the association.

The delegation was led by Association President Dhruv Ruparel and included Vice Presidents Vijay Lande, Dhananjay Shitole, Aba Walhekar, Amar Renuse, Kshitij Kankariya, and Bhagyendra Singh Chudasama.

During the discussions, the delegation presented key challenges faced by petrol pump operators and workers, seeking administrative and policy-level support from the government.

Labour Minister Adv. Akash Fundkar assured the delegation that the issues raised would be examined carefully and that appropriate action would be initiated at the concerned departmental levels.
