The Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) Commissioner Rajendra Bhosale has increased the responsibilities of the Assistant Commissioner to coordinate the work and schemes implemented by the regional offices of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) as well as the main department.

Pune- The Assistant Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation has been appointed as the ‘Nodal Officer’ for his jurisdiction by the PMC Commissioner, Rajendra Bhosale, to oversee coordination among the regional officers and the main office of PMC. Under this role, the Assistant Commissioner is now responsible for:
1. Supervising the work of all the departments within his jurisdiction
2. Monitoring the work and impact of various departments’ implemented schemes
3. Ensuring that officers/servants of all cadres of all the departments at the regional level of PMC coordinate with the Assistant Commissioner and follow his instructions
4. Conducting meetings with all concerned officers every fortnight to review coordination issues
5. Submitting a monthly report of the officers who fail to comply with the given instructions through the Additional Commissioner to the PMC Commissioner
