Pune, January 24, 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced an extension of its Property Tax Amnesty Scheme for the financial year 2025–26, granting citizens additional time until February 15, 2026 to clear pending dues. Under the scheme, property owners will receive a 75 percent waiver on penalties levied on outstanding property tax amounts.
The amnesty scheme applies to all categories of properties, including residential, non-residential, and open plots. Notably, even citizens who had availed benefits under previous amnesty schemes are eligible to take advantage of this renewed offer.
PMC officials have described the extension as a golden opportunity for defaulters to regularise their pending property tax payments with significant financial relief. Citizens with outstanding dues are urged to utilise the extended deadline and complete their payments at the earliest.
