Pune: PMC Fines Vision Skylish Grroup At Lulla Nagar ₹25,000 For Releasing Construction Site Water Onto Road And Drainage Line
Pune, July 17, 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has imposed a ₹25,000 penalty on Vision Skylish Grroup (VSG) for allegedly releasing water from its construction site onto a public road and into the drainage system in the Bibvewadi area.
The action was carried out by the Bibvewadi Regional Office under the directions of Deputy Commissioner (Solid Waste Management) Santosh Warule, Deputy Commissioner, Zone 5 Madhav Jagtap, and Assistant Municipal Commissioner Sheetal Wakde.
The enforcement drive was conducted under the supervision of Senior Health Inspectors Rahul Bathe, Sunil Mohite, and Vinod Sable. Health Inspector Vasant Bhoir and Mukadam Prakash Nadgeri were also present during the inspection.
According to PMC officials, the construction site was found discharging water onto the road and into the drainage line, creating unhygienic conditions and causing inconvenience to the public.
The civic body issued the penalty receipt to Vision Skylish Grroup (VSG), whose construction site is located near Gandhi Empire, Lullanagar, Pune.
PMC stated that the action was taken under the provisions of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949, including regulations related to public sanitation, nuisance, and city cleanliness. The penalty falls under the municipal provisions governing activities that create unsanitary conditions or public inconvenience.
The fine was imposed on July 14, 2026, following an inspection that confirmed the unauthorised discharge of construction site water onto public infrastructure.
PMC has been conducting regular inspections across the city during the monsoon to curb violations by construction sites that contribute to road damage, blocked drainage systems and public health hazards.
