The cleanliness competition will be conducted across multiple sectors, including municipal wards, schools, colleges, hospitals, markets, hotels, and especially housing societies, where structured competition will be encouraged to improve waste segregation, sanitation, hygiene practices, and environmental sustainability.
PMC officials said that friendly competition among housing societies will play a key role in building community-driven cleanliness models and setting benchmarks for urban living standards.
