Pune: PMC Offers Up to 10% Property Tax Rebate Till May 31

Pune, May 5, 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation has announced a rebate of up to 10% on property tax for the current financial year, offering relief to property owners who clear their dues within the stipulated deadline.
According to the civic body, property owners who pay the full amount of their property tax between April 1, 2026 and May 31, 2026, will be eligible for a concession ranging from 5% to 10% under the general tax category.

Officials stated that even if citizens have not received their tax bills, they can access them online by visiting the official PMC property tax website and using the “Tax Bill” option. Payments can also be made digitally through the “Pay Online” facility.
To make the process more convenient, property tax payments can also be made through select banks including Bank of Maharashtra, ICICI Bank, and Cosmos Bank. Additionally, PMC’s Citizen Facilitation Centres (CFCs) will remain operational from Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 5 pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 2 pm.

The civic administration has appealed to all property owners to take advantage of the rebate scheme and pay their dues before May 31, contributing to the city’s development while avoiding penalties.
PMC officials emphasised that timely tax payments are crucial for funding civic infrastructure and services across the city.
