Pune : PMC removes road encroachments on NIBM Undri road

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) removed all kinds of encroachments in just two hours on NIBM road on Tuesday.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Dhammanand Gaikwad, Encroachment Inspector, PMC Hadapsar-Mundhwa Ward Office said, “After Vikas Dhakane, PMC Additional Commissioner inspected the NIBM-Undri road in detail regarding encroachments, he ordered to remove them. In this action, 5 stalls, 20 hawkers and encroachments in the margin in front of the private spaces were removed.”
As per information, encroachments on the 1.5-kilometre stretch of NIBM to Undri road were removed from both sides of the road.
It is worthy to note that a special campaign is being implemented by the PMC to remove encroachments on Pune city roads and constructions obstructing the roads. This work is going on under the guidance of Dhakane. The team of Balasaheb Dhawale Patil, assistant commissioner and Dhammanand Gaikwad, encroachment inspector of Hadapsar-Mundhwa Ward Office removed all the encroachments in the open spaces adjacent to the road in front of the housing complexes.
