Passengers bound for Mumbai also faced challenges, with scheduled meetings thrown into disarray due to the delay. One traveller recounted having to reschedule a meeting at Borivali due to the train’s tardiness, which had a ripple effect on other Mumbai-bound trains departing from Ahmedabad.

The incident highlights the importance of effective communication and contingency planning during emergencies. Passengers stressed the need for railway staff to be trained in handling such situations and for clear evacuation protocols to be in place.
