As passengers prepared to disembark at Surat, they were met with locked doors, leaving them stranded inside their coaches. Despite efforts by railway staff and a team from Surat station to manually open the doors, the situation persisted for nearly an hour before the glitch was rectified.

The lack of communication and assistance from railway personnel exacerbated the ordeal, with passengers expressing frustration at the insensitivity of the authorities. The incident highlights the importance of effective communication and contingency planning during emergencies. Passengers stressed the need for railway staff to be trained in handling such situations and for clear evacuation protocols to be in place.
