Pune : PMPML to begin 8 new Metro feeder bus service in Pune

Pune: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) has announced plans to start more buses for Metro Feeder service on 8 new Routes in Pune from August 10 with an aim to increase the connectivity for commuters travelling in the Pune Metro.
It is worthy to note that the Metro feeder bus routes have received an overwhelming response from Punekars on the earlier launched routes.
As per information, this will be an addition to the seven routes that the PMPML has implemented. Beginning August 10, eight new buses on these eight new routes will begin transporting people. Along with this, the PMPML officials have also said that they would expand the service on a number of routes based on positive feedback from the passengers. Additionally, adjustments have been made to the routes where low passenger counts were observed.
Hence, following is the entire list of 8 new Metro feeder bus routes:
- Metro Shuttle 1 – From Vanaz Metro Station to Vanaz Metro Station (To & Fro), Frequency – 40 Minutes
- Metro Shuttle 3 – From Vanaz Metro Station to Anand Nagar, Frequency – 40 Minutes
- Metro Shuttle 15 – From Shivaji Nagar Metro Station to Pune Station, Frequency – 1 Hour 10 Minutes
- Metro Shuttle 16 – From Pune Station to Mundhwa Gaon, Frequency – 1 Hour 30 Minutes
- Metro Shuttle 17 – From Hadapsar to Shivajinagar Civic Court Metro Station, Frequency – 2 Hours 30 Minutes
- Metro Shuttle 40 – From Dange Chowk to Dange Chowk (Circle), Frequency – 1 Hour
- Metro Shuttle 41 – From Dange Chowk to Dange Chowk (Circle), Frequency – 1 Hour
- Metro Shuttle K 21 – From Bavdhan Gaon to Vanaz Metro Station, Frequency – 50 Minutes
