According to updates from Pune City Police’s official Twitter handle, a comprehensive tally reveals that the helpline, initiated on July 10th, has garnered a total of 678 responses. Among these, an impressive 77.43%—equivalent to 525 responses—pertain to pertinent and actionable messages.

The variety of issues covered in the 678 messages includes:

  • 175 Police-related complaints
  • 127 Miscellaneous matters
  • 125 Traffic-related concerns
  • 80 Noise pollution reports
  • 50 Women and child complaints
  • 35 Suggestions
  • 34 Cyber-related issues
  • 26 Reports of illegal businesses
  • 20 Patrolling-related messages
  • 4 Instances of road rage or fights
  • 2 Requests for passport verification

The police authority encourages the public to continue utilizing the helpline for lodging complaints.
