The Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj Sansthan released the 339th Palkhi schedule on Thursday, April 25. On June 28, in the afternoon, Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi would set out, arriving at Pandharpur on July 16.

From July 16 to July 21, Pandharpur will host the palkhi. The palkhi would leave Pandharpur in the afternoon on July 21 and arrive back in Dehugaon by 2:00 pm on July 31. The palkhi will repose for the first time at the recently built Shree Sant Tukaram Maharaj Sansthan Temple in Pandharpur. 

Here’s what the schedule and route of Palkhi look like: 

  • 1st stay – Inamdar Wada  
  • On Saturday, June 29, the palanquin will stop near Angadshah Baba Dargah for the first Abhang aarti, while the second stop for the aarti will be at the Paduka Temple in Chincholi. 
  • 2nd stay – Vitthal Temple in Akurdi 
  • June 30 – July 1, the palkhi will be staying at Kathunga Vitthal Mandir in Nana Peth in Pune. 
  • On July 2 the palkhi will leave for Loni Kalbhor and stay there at the new palkhi base. 
  • On July 3 the palkhi will stay at Bhairavnath Temple in Yawat
  • On July 4, Palkhi will stay at Vitthal Mandir in Varwand
  • On July 5 the stay will be at Undavadi Gawla(Baramati)
  • On July 6 the stay will be at Baramati Sharda School premises and 
  • On July 7 the stay will be at Sansar (Indapur)
  • On July 8, 1st circular Ringan will be at Belwadi (Indapur)
  • On July 9 the Palkhi will stay at Nimgaon Ketaki
  • On July 10, 2nd circular Ringan will be at Indapur
  • On the morning of July 12, the palkhi will settle at Sarati and proceed to Akluj, where the 3rd circular Ringan will be completed in the afternoon. 
  • The 1st standing Ringan will be held at Malinagar on July 13. 
  • The 2nd standing Ringan will be held at Bajirao Vihir on July 15 in the evening.
  • On July 16, the palkhi will leave Bakhri for Pandharpur in the morning, and the last and 3rd standing Ringan will be held at Paduka Aarti Sthal in the evening. The palkhi will then enter the holy Pandharpur city in the evening and will rest in the new building of Sri Sant Tukaram Maharaj Mandir at night.Â
