Pune Pulse Impact: Repair work of non-functional CCTV cameras begins in Bavdhan

On 5th February (Monday), Pune Pulse had reported about the issue of CCTV cameras remaining non-functional in LMD Chowk, Lakshmi Datta Chowk and other areas. Reacting to it, the work of repairing those CCTV cameras has begun at LMD Chowk in Bavdhan.

As per further information from Bavdhan Citizens Forum “The work of repairing the closed CCTV cameras has been started from today. We had made the said complaint to the Commissioner, Additional Commissioner and Chief Electricity Officer of PMC. Also, Pune Pulse (media) had raised the issue to the authorities. Thank you all.”

Manish Deo, A resident of Bavdhan, said “The work of repairing CCTV cameras at LMD Chowk has begun by some contractors. The shut CCTV cameras at Lakshmi Datta Chowk, Tinseltown Society etc are being shown to the contractors & their repair work will begin soon too.”

The CCTV cameras in many areas of Bavdhan like LMD Chowk, Laxmi Datta Chowk etc are not working since a long time 

PMC had assured of appropriate action which has begun to happen now.
