Yesterday’s rising water levels not only posed a serious life risk for humans, but many animals were found stranded at various locations in Pune and adjoining areas. The RESQ CT team has been available to answer calls to rescue animals and pets stuck in ground floor homes because of the flooding. The RESQ CT team is dedicated to providing critical care and support for animals in need. They undergo specialized training in wildlife rescue techniques, handling injured animals, understanding wildlife behavior, and providing appropriate medical care.
It’s indeed challenging during the monsoon to provide shelter and food for animals, but the team’s dedication is truly remarkable. They are well-trained and their commitment will surely impress you. The RESQ CT team rushed to help many animals stuck in homes on the ground floor because of the heavy rain and flooding in Pune yesterday.

A lady from PCMC wouldn’t leave her house until her 15 animals (14 dogs and 1 cat) were safe. The RESQ team rescued all of them, and only then did she agree to come out wearing a life vest and walked out with them.
