Pune rural police urges tourists to remain cautious of overcrowding at popular tourists destinations

Pune: The Pune Rural Police has decided to appoint more police officers at various tourist spots in Pune to increase safety and be more vigilant regarding tourists.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Ankit Goyal, Superintendent of Police, Pune Rural Police said, “We are constantly guiding tourists about possible accidents due to irresponsible behaviour by them. The number of accidents regarding tourists has shot up. As a result, we have decided to increase the security of tourists by appointing more police officers.”

As per information, some of the famous spots in & around Pune, which tend to attract more & more tourists, are Sinhagad Fort, Lohagad Fort, Bhushi Dam, Lonavala, Bhor & many more. Several people flock popular tourist destinations every week to soak in nature’s beauty in monsoon. Due to overcrowding & a bit of carelessness by the tourists, accidents like people getting lost due to overcrowding, people falling in gorges and many more happen frequently. Thus, the Pune police have urged the citizens and tourists to be careful & responsible while enjoying the beauty of various tourist spots as one wrong move could lead to a serious accident.
