In remembrance of the 350 years of Martyrdom of Shree Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and supreme Shahadat of the Chaar Sahibzaade ( Four Sons of Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji), Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Camp, along with Guru Nanak Youth Foundation and the Saadh Sangat of Pune, organised the Safar-E-Shahadat Two-Wheeler Rally today.

The rally was flagged off at 9:30 a.m. from Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Camp, by Mr. Ranjan Kumar Sharma, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police, Pune, in the presence of devotees and citizens.

As the rally passed through the streets of Pune, it received a warm and reverential welcome from mandals, temples, talims, and institutions. 

Floral tribute, kirtan, ardaas, and devotional chants echoed across the city. Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust, ISKCON devotees, Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Gurudwara Singh Sabha, and several other organisations welcomed the participants with flowers, prayers, and refreshments, reflecting Pune’s spirit of unity and interfaith harmony.

People of all ages, young and old, men and women participated in the rally, riding together in tribute. The winter morning resonated with chants of “Satnam Waheguru,” “Bole So Nihal, Sat Shri Akaal,” and “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” as citizens along the route paid homage to the Shahadat of the Chaar Sahibzaade.

The rally concluded at 11:30 a.m. at Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Camp. Children who participated were felicitated with gifts, and young Sikh children in traditional attire were specially rewarded.

The Safar-E-Shahadat Rally stood as a powerful reminder of sacrifice, courage, and the shared values of faith, harmony, and resilience.
