Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday announced his decision to step down as party chief. However, he won’t retire from active politics. It is learnt that a committee will be formed to decide who should be given the responsibility of the party chief’s post. The announcement of stepping down from the post has not gone well with the party workers and they have demanded that he should rethink his decision and withdraw it too.Â
