Wagholi, Pune – Taking a significant stride towards renewable energy adoption, Suyog Nisarg CHSL has successfully implemented a 50 kW solar power project under the SHAKTi initiative. The project was inaugurated on 30th March 2025, aligning with the celebration of Gudhi Padwa, in the presence of key dignitaries including Raskar (Add. Executive Engineer, Hadapsar Subdivision, MSEDCL), Babar (Executive Engineer, Wagholi Division, MSEDCL), Rajendra More, Shivdas Pawar, and Ajinkya Satav.
This solar initiative empowers the society to harness clean energy, significantly reducing electricity costs while promoting environmental sustainability. Spearheaded by the Managing Committee’s solar power team, the project saw instrumental contributions from Shankar Vetal, ensuring seamless execution. M/s. Sumedha Energy Solutions and Services managed the installation with their industry expertise, delivering a well-structured and efficient system.
The project also benefits from the government’s PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, reinforcing financial feasibility and encouraging broader adoption. Inspired by this transition, neighboring societies are now exploring similar solar solutions, amplifying the shift towards sustainable energy within the community.
