Pune Traffic Police Issues Advisory: Night-Time Road Work On Moledina Road From December 13; Diversions Planned
Pune: Traffic Diversions And Vehicle Restrictions Announced For Bajaj Pune Grand Tour Cycling Event On January 21
Pune, December 13, 2025: The Pune City Traffic Department has issued a traffic advisory in view of underground high-voltage power cable work to be carried out by the MSEDCL (Mahavitaran) on Moledina Road under the Lashkar Traffic Division.
According to the advisory, the work will be undertaken on the stretch from Nehru Memorial Chowk (HP Petrol Pump) to the New Zilla Parishad building road, starting at 9.00 pm on December 13, 2025. The project is expected to continue for three days, until December 15, 2025.
During this period, traffic between Nehru Memorial Chowk and SGS Mall side will have single line movement to remain operational. However, if required, traffic diversions will be implemented for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, excluding public PMPML buses. Vehicles may be diverted from SBI Treasury Bank via the ISKCON Temple–Teen Tofa Chowk route towards the Camp and Hadapsar areas.
The traffic department has assured that all necessary arrangements and safety measures have been put in place to manage vehicular movement and minimise inconvenience.
Citizens have been urged to cooperate with traffic authorities and plan their travel accordingly, the Pune City Traffic Department said.
