A tragic incident unfolded on the Lohegaon-Charholi road on February 22, 2024, around 5:00 pm, resulting in a fatal collision between a two-wheeler and a four-wheeler. The incident gained widespread attention after CCTV footage capturing the harrowing event went viral.

The victim, identified as Rakesh, was riding the two-wheeler at the time of the accident, while the driver of the four-wheeler has been revealed to be a minor. Witnesses reported that the car was speeding and lost control, crashing into Rakesh’s two-wheeler.
Tragically, Rakesh succumbed to his injuries sustained in the accident, according to eyewitnesses. Rupesh Todekar of the Lohegaon Police Station stated that no formal case has been registered yet, but assured that the matter will be thoroughly investigated.
