Pune : Road works worth Rs 122 crores to begin in Mahadevwadi soon, announces Nana Bhangire 

The long wait of citizens of Mahadevwadi demanding motorable roads is going to end as Shiv Sena City Chief Promod Nana Bhangire has announced that, DP road development work worth Rs122 crores roads will start soon in Mahadevwadi (Mohammadwadi) in Pune. 

Promod Bhangire, former PMC corporator said, ” All the abandoned roads marked as DP Road will be soon developed. This development of roads will help the local citizens and also reduce the congestion caused at several junctions. With the area rapidly developing in these past few years,  traffic has become an important issue in the area which needs to be resolved at the earliest.”

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also played an important role in the implementation of the project, added Bhangire. As per the work order, the project will be completed in the next 2 years. 

A resident of Mohammadwadi said, “We are hopeful now and happy that the traffic issue will finally be resolved in this area. During peak hours, congestion adds to the problems of the local citizens.”
