Pune Update: Missing 16-Year-Old Owais Suhil Shaikh Found Safe
Pune, December 2, 2024: In a relief to his worried family, 16-year-old Owais Suhil Shaikh, who was reported missing from New Nana Peth earlier today, has been found safe. Owais, who was last seen at 1:05 PM near Bagoomal Society in Pudumjee Park Lane No. 3, was located after an extensive search effort by family members, friends, and local authorities.
Suhil Shaikh, Owais’s father, expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped spread the word. Speaking to Pune Pulse, he said, “We are overwhelmed by the community’s support and the quick response from the authorities. Our prayers have been answered.”
Owais, who is 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing the outfit shown in his photo, went missing earlier in the afternoon, prompting his family to file a complaint at the Pudumjee police chowky before coordinating efforts with the Samarth police station.
The family thanks everyone who shared information and helped in the search. Further details on how Owais was located are yet to be disclosed.
