Pune: Utkal Divas Celebrated With Cultural Fervour At Kumar Park Infinia In Phursungi
Pune, April 12, 2025: Residents of Kumar Park Infinia, Phursungi, came together in the first week of April to celebrate Utkal Divas, marking the formation of the state of Odisha.
What made this celebration special was that it was entirely organised and hosted by the Odia residents of the society—right from planning and performances to food and décor.
The event showcased traditional Odissi dance, music, a quiz on Odisha’s rich history, and fun games like musical chairs and housie, bringing together over 25 families and 20+ children in a joyful celebration of culture and community.
The highlight of the event was a delicious vegetarian Odia feast, complete with regional delicacies including the much-loved Kheeri.
The celebration was a vibrant reminder of how cultural roots can thrive and bring people together, even far from home.
