Pune : Vibrant Independence Day Celebrations Held At Nandan Euphoria Society in Vishrantwadi

Vishrantwadi Tingre Nagar witnessed a resplendent celebration of the 77th Independence Day on the 15th of August, orchestrated with flair by the Nandan Euphoria Society. The event, brimming with patriotic zeal, left an indelible mark on the community.

Providing insights into the festivities, Santoshi Gupta shared, “The commemoration commenced with a warm welcome and introduction of esteemed guests, followed by the grand unfurling of the Tricolour accompanied by the resonating strains of the National Anthem. What followed was an eagerly anticipated cultural extravaganza presented by the immensely talented Nandan kids and ladies. The lineup featured an eclectic array of performances, including captivating kid’s mash-ups, spirited group dances, soul-stirring solo dance acts, melodious singing renditions, heartfelt Hindi Kavita recitations, and skillful instrument playing on harmonium and piano, all set to patriotic tunes. The event was enriched by the eloquent hosting by the Nandan Ladies, engaging quizzes, a graceful group dance by the ladies, and an adorable March Past by the youngest Nandan Heroes, a testament to our promising future generation, alongside the enthusiastic residents.”

This year’s defining moment was the inaugural performance of the ladies’ group dance, which debuted to resounding applause and appreciation, resonating with the significance of the occasion.

The graceful ensemble of Nandan Ladies, including Santoshi B Gupta, Poonam Bansal, Deepika, Sameeta, Rupali, Shikha, Madhura, Abha Agarwal, Vaishali Agarwal, Sindhu Menon, and Kirti Salunkhe, took the stage with an enthralling dance rendition set to the popular tune of “Rang de Basanti,” meticulously choreographed by the celebrated choreographer Amit Sir.

As the event drew to a close, the reverberations of gratitude echoed through the air with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by a delightful high tea meticulously arranged by the dedicated committee members. The event not only commemorated the nation’s freedom but also symbolized the unity and spirit of the Nandan Euphoria Society.
