Pune : Waiter brutally assaulted by 2 people in party held in Mundhwa

Pune: In a shocking incident, a waiter was hit by a beer bottle after he picked up a call while he was serving food at a function in Keshav Nagar. The accused have been identified as Chandrakant Solanki and Raman Mule.
On Saturday, August 26, a catering order was placed for a party of 100 people. The next day, the waiter arrived at Chandrakant Solanki’s bungalow at Florida Estate society in Keshav Nagar, Mundhwa. The party started around 7:30 pm, and the waiter was busy distributing food to the guests. At around 10:30 pm, the waiter received a phone call and temporarily took a break from his duties to answer it.
At around the same time, Solanki and a relative confronted the waiter. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, during which Solanki hit the waiter with a beer bottle, resulting in a deep wound in the waiter’s right knee. The waiter fled the spot in a state of panic, leaving behind a trail of blood. He immediately filed a complaint against Solanki & Mule. It is worthy to note that the waiter works at Ladies Club in the Camp area where Raman Mule is the manager.
A case has been registered against the 2 accused under Sections 504, 324, 34 & other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation of the case is underway.
