Pune: Wanawadi Traffic Police Take Initiative To Repair Potholes Near Bishop’s School At Mammadevi Chowk
Pune, July 25, 2026: Pothole repair work has commenced on the road near Mammadevi Chowk in Wanawadi, particularly on the stretch adjoining Bishop’s School, following concerns over damaged road conditions that were affecting motorists and commuters.
The road had developed several potholes due to continuous wear and recent weather conditions, posing safety risks and causing inconvenience to daily traffic in the area.

To address the issue, Wanawadi Traffic Police coordinated with local stakeholders and reached out to Adar Poonawalla for assistance in facilitating the repair work.
The repair activity is currently underway, with workers filling the damaged portions of the road to improve safety and ensure smoother movement of vehicles.

The initiative is expected to reduce the risk of accidents and ease traffic flow on this busy route.
Police Inspector Sangeeta Jadhav of the Wanawadi Traffic Division stated that the road restoration work is being carried out as part of efforts to improve commuter safety and address civic concerns in the locality.
