Pune Rain Update, 25 July 2024: Residents of Pune, be prepared for heavy rains tomorrow. The Meteorological Department has issued crucial updates for the next 24 hours.

The city and surrounding areas, including Konkan and West Maharashtra, are experiencing significant rainfall. The weather department has issued a red alert for heavy rains in the Ghat regions and an orange alert for eastern areas, including Pune city. Visibility is expected to decrease due to high humidity and continuous rain.

On Wednesday night (24th), heavy rains caused rivers in the district to flood, and most dams are nearing full capacity. Low-lying areas and riverbanks in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad have been submerged.
