The maximum temperature of the season was recorded in Pune on Thursday at 41 degrees Celsius. The temperature at Hadapsar, Vadgaonsheri, and Koregaon Park was 43℃ at an all-time high. At 42℃, Shivajinagar registered the hottest temperature of the season. On the other hand, Hadapsar, Vadgaonsheri, recorded 43 ℃. Nonetheless, the next five days are expected to be rainy.

Dr. Anupam Kashyapi, former head of the Indian Meteorology Department, Pune observed that the city’s recent dispersed rainfall patterns were a sign of more significant climate disruptions brought on by urban growth.

According to the meteorological department’s prediction, the highest temperature is expected to drop starting from Friday (19). It has been quite hot in Pune for the past two days. Sometimes, Pune citizens report that it is extremely hot while the evening showers bring some reprieve from the daytime heat. 

Hadapsar : 43.5 ℃

Wadgaon-Sheri : 43.1 ℃

Koregaon Park : 43 ℃

Shirur : 42.8 ℃

Magarpatta : 42.4 ℃

Chinchwad : 42 ℃

Shivajinagar : 41 ℃

Pashan : 41 ℃

Lonavla : 36.8 ℃
