A case has come to light in Pune where a woman swindled a Maulana out of 14 lakhs by falsely stating that her first husband had died. She informed the Maulana, who resides in the Kondhwa area, that her first spouse had passed away and subsequently married him for a second time.
After living with the Maulana for a year, she received valuable items worth a total of 14 lakhs, including a house, a car, and jewelry, before marrying for the third time.
The 59 year-old Maulana has filed a complaint at the Kondhwa police station, and the police have registered a case in this matter.
