Pune: Yoga Workshop Held By Geeta Ashram For Army Public SchoolÂ
Pune, June 5, 2026: Army Public School Dighi organized a two-day YOGA workshop (Jeevanam Module) in collaboration with Geeta Ashram Pune for the teachers of the Pre-Primary, Primary, and Secondary Wings on 1st and 2nd June 2026 at the school premises as part of the in-service training program for teachers.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome and introduction of the distinguished resource persons by the coordinators, Mrs. Pratibha Sawant, Mrs. Ekta Gautam, and the Headmistress, Mrs. Bindu Poduval. The dignitaries introduced were Mr. Amit Kasture, Yogacharya and Chief Trustee of Geeta Ashram Pune; Mr. Anup Matkar, trust Member of Geeta Ashram Pune, he is also the part of PR team at GeetaAshram Pune and a Sanskrit teacher at Gurukul Sanskrit academy, Mrs. Smita, Trustee and Social Media Coordinator of Geeta Ashram Pune and Mrs. Shubha Mhaske, Consultant Dietician and working in corporate wellness.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Amit Kasture shared valuable insights into the various spiritual, educational, and social initiatives undertaken by Geeta Ashram Pune under the divine blessings and guidance of Gurudev Shri Padmanabhan Krishnadasa Ji. He emphasized the importance of leading a balanced and purposeful life through self-awareness, discipline, and holistic well-being.
The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 96 teachers. The JEEVANAM MODULE proved to be highly enriching, insightful, and beneficial for all participants. Through engaging sessions, yoga practices, interactive discussions, and meaningful activities, the yogacharyas effectively highlighted the significance of value-based living, emotional well-being, self-development, and physical fitness in both personal and professional life.

The sessions were interactive, thought-provoking, and captivating throughout, ensuring active participation and involvement from all attendees. The workshop was greatly appreciated by the participants, who found the content practical, relevant, and inspiring.
Overall, the programme was a resounding success and contributed significantly to the personal and professional growth of the teaching fraternity.
