Pune, June 13, 2026: The third phase of the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) 2026 has been announced by the Central Government, offering more than 31,480 internship opportunities across the country. The initiative is expected to provide young people in Pune district with valuable industry exposure and hands-on work experience in leading companies.
Under the scheme, applicants must be Indian citizens aged between 18 and 25 years. Candidates who have completed Class 10, Class 12, ITI, Diploma, or Graduation are eligible to apply. Individuals engaged in full-time employment or regular classroom education are not eligible. However, students pursuing online or distance learning courses can apply.
The internship duration will range from six to nine months, and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹9,000. Participants will also be awarded a certificate upon successful completion of the internship.

- Jubilant FoodWorks – 192 positions
- Bosch Limited – 300 positions
- Reliance Industries Limited – 33 positions
- Tech Mahindra – 30 positions
- Škoda Auto Volkswagen India – 19 positions
- Emami Limited – 15 positions
- Finolex Cables – 15 positions
- Cognizant Technology Solutions – 14 positions
- IBM India – 10 positions
- Mahindra & Mahindra – 254 positions
As the application window for these internship opportunities is limited, eligible candidates are advised to register and apply for available positions through the PM Internship Scheme portal at pminternship.mca.gov.in at the earliest to avail themselves of the benefits of the scheme.
