Pushpa 2 Screening Turns Violent: Canteen Owner Attacks Patron Over Food Bill
A canteen proprietor at a theatre showing the movie Pushpa 2 in Gwalior reportedly bit a man’s ear during the film’s intermission due to a disagreement over payment.
A strange event took place at Kailash Talkies in Gwalior, where a canteen owner reportedly severed a portion of a man’s ear after a disagreement regarding a snack bill during the showing of Pushpa 2: The Rule.
At a screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Kailash Talkies in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, a fierce argument erupted over a food bill. Raju, the owner of the canteen, claimed that a patron named Shabbir had failed to pay for his snacks.
The situation escalated into violence, with Raju allegedly biting Shabbir’s ear during the confrontation. Following the incident, Shabbir filed a complaint with the police, resulting in charges of assault and threats against Raju and three accomplices. The police are actively looking into the case.
Niranjan Sharma, an additional SP, reported that a dispute regarding food payments led to a physical altercation.
“The canteen owner and his three associates allegedly beat Shabbir and also bit his ear while threatening to kill him,” says the SP.
Shabbir filed a police complaint on Monday, and a case was opened against three individuals on Tuesday following the examination of Shabbir’s medical report. He noted that the investigation is ongoing.
However, according to the most recent update, no arrests have been made.
“Pushpa 2” serves as the follow-up to Sukumar’s successful 2021 film “Pushpa: The Rise,” which earned approximately $46 million at the box office. In this sequel, also helmed by Sukumar, Allu Arjun returns to portray Pushpa Raj, the bold red sandalwood smuggler who, after defeating Superintendent of Police Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, rises to even greater heights within the criminal underworld.
