Quick Action by Minister Mohol Helps 120 Pune Students Caught In Delhi Traffic Board Flight On Time
A group of 120 students and 20 adults from a Pune school narrowly avoided missing their flight back home after being stuck in heavy traffic en route to Delhi Airport. The students, returning from an educational trip to Delhi and Jalandhar, faced a major delay just 25 kilometers from the airport, putting their flight to Pune at risk.
Thanks to the timely intervention of Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, the situation was swiftly resolved. After receiving an urgent request from the group’s coordinators, Mohol’s office contacted IndiGo Airlines, which provided immediate assistance. The airline ensured smooth security checks and arranged alternative flights for the group, allowing all students to safely return to Pune late that night.
