In a candid interview with a new channel, rapper and singer Badshah made headlines with his unconventional views on luxury cars and fashion. Known for his extravagant lifestyle, Badshah surprised many by calling his Rs 8 crore Rolls-Royce “rubbish” and stating that no car surpasses the comfort of a Suzuki Swift or Toyota Innova.
Badshah, who owns an impressive collection of over 1,000 sneakers, discussed his most prized possession—a Nike Yeezy 2 worth approximately Rs 22 lakh. Despite its hefty market value, he revealed he purchased it for around Rs 6 lakh. “I’m not spending Rs 22 lakh on a shoe,” he said. “I bought it because I’m a sneakerhead. I plan to wear it the day I win a Grammy.”
When asked about the luxury vehicles in his garage, including the Rolls-Royce, Badshah expressed his discontent with high-end cars, asserting that the Swift and Innova offer a superior driving experience. “It’s rubbish, no car is better than the Swift,” he commented. “Swift and Innova are the best cars ever.”
The rapper also touched upon personal topics, including his struggles with depression and his decision to step away from Karan Johar’s projects, Lust Stories and Good Newwz. Despite the opulence associated with his career, Badshah’s remarks reflect a preference for simplicity and practicality over luxury.
