Ritesh Kumar appointed as Pune Police Commissioner while Vinay Chaube as Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner
The much awaited transfers of Indian Police Service officers in Maharashtra was announced today.
Amitabh Gupta, posted as Commissioner of Pune Police has now been transferred while Ritesh Kumar, 1992 batch IPS officer has been newly appointed as Pune City Police Commissioner. Gupta has been transferred to Maharashtra police headquarters as Additional DGP (law and order). Ritesh Kumar presently worked as head of Maharashtra CID.
Similar transfer took place in Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate where Vinay Kumar Chaube has been transferred as Commissioner, Pimpri Chinchwad police.
