Rohit Pawar Declares Chinchwad Residents Ready to End "Contractor Rule" Exploitation in Rahul Kalate's Rally
Chinchwad, Nov 10 – Rohit Pawar recently spoke out against what he calls the “contractor rule” in Chinchwad, where he claims a small group of people control contracts and make money through unfair deals. This has frustrated Chinchwad’s residents, who are now determined to bring real change in the upcoming election. Pawar expressed confidence that the voters of Chinchwad will vote to end this “contractor rule.”

Speaking at a youth gathering in Valhekarwadi to support Rahul Kalate, the Mahavikas Aghadi candidate, Pawar sharply criticized both local leaders and the current government. He accused local politicians of favoring their relatives and associates, creating a system that benefits them instead of the public. He said Rahul Kalate, known for his courage and determination, is the only candidate who can put an end to this exploitation.
Pawar praised Kalate’s past efforts as a municipal councilor, noting that Kalate opposed development projects that he felt did not benefit the people. Kalate successfully secured government funds to improve 19 major roads in Chinchwad. Pawar believes that if Kalate is elected, he will bring positive change to the area.
When Kalate began his speech, the crowd cheered with chants and enthusiasm. He thanked the Mahavikas Aghadi for supporting him and promised to work for a safer, corruption-free Chinchwad. Kalate said he would focus on solving housing issues and granting ownership to residents living in unauthorized buildings. He pointed out that despite 20 years of promises, local issues remain unsolved, and the people now want real change. He is confident that voters in Chinchwad are ready to bring a new kind of leadership this election.
Prominent Mahavikas Aghadi leaders, including Sanjyog Waghere, NCP city president Tushar Kamthe, Mayur Kalate, Vishal Wakadkar, Imran Sheikh, Chetan Pawar, and other youth leaders, attended the gathering.
BJP Misleading Voters, Says Pawar
Pawar accused the BJP of failing to fulfill its promises even after 20 years in power. He is confident that the Mahavikas Aghadi will form the state government and urged young voters to stay alert and make sure every representative truly serves the people.
