Rose Icon residents provide 17,000 food packets to less privileged
Ever since the lockdown was announced, many from Rose Icon didn’t sit idle but instead took this opportunity to serve people in need.
They began serving food to in house Employees, vendor persons and housekeeping staff. The credit of the successful drive goes to the ladies of the society who provided wholesome meals for many days. A resident said,” A great sense of management without breaking any rules of self distancing, they prepared food for almost 15 people everyday. Society till date has collected funds of Rs 2,02,000 from 100 plus residents. They have served 2127 people till date and plan to serve more 4000 atleast considering the balance funds they have. A total of 17,000 food packets, 300 residents giving cash and distribution of PPE kits to doctors and police officials has been done by Rose Icon residents.
