Blue Ridge residents support brick kiln workers
100s of families around Blue Ridge township in Hinjawadi are living in extreme poverty ! Lockdown brought a 360 degree change in their life leaving them jobless.
Seeing the struggle to meet their daily food requirements, residents of Blue Ridge with help of their security staff extended help by providing them with ration kits consisting of wheat flour, rice, dal, oil, salt, turmeric and chilli powder. Manik Malhotra, resident of Blue Ridge society said, ” With help of local support, we have so far distributed over 275 kits. Our residents also took an extra mile to feed the stray animals around our area.”
