Roseland Residency felicitates front line warriors

Roseland Residency Co-operative housing society in Pimple Saudagar is known for its social initiatives. On June 1, 2021 the society management felicitated people for their contribution in this tough phase.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, chairman, Santosh Maskar said, “Last month (May 2021) we had the highest number of active cases (74) at one point as our society is huge consisting of 1000 homes. Since then we all are working to reduce the active cases and we are happy to share that from the last two weeks we don’t have any new covid cases, we are a covid free society as of today.”

Today on June 1, the society felicitated the sanitation staff of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation who relentlessly worked even during the Covid19 pandemic.

Maskar said, “Today we felicitated all those people who helped in keeping our area clean and hygienic. It was our turn to appreciate their help. These people picked up waste from people who contracted Covid19. We also felicitated Dr. Prafful Tapsalkar for arranging the testing camp and vaccination drive in our society. We also felicitated the covid testing lab in charge, Shree Bhujal from Jijamata hospital, Pimpri who was very quick to do the antigen test when we sent our residents or domestic helpers for the covid testing. While doing all these covid management, one of our friend from Kunal Icon society who was arranging COVID testing camp in different parts of Pimple Saudagar with the help of PCMC John D’souza was also felicitated.

Our residents contributed money which we handed over to PCMC staff and a small gift to everyone as a token of appreciation. Our fight against COVID is not yet complete and every resident is contributing his bit to keep the Covid out of the society. Our next goal is MISSION VACCINATION. We are working with PCMC and some private hospitals for vaccination camps inside the society.”

Local Corporator Vitthal Nana Kate felicitated the warriors for their outstanding contribution. The program saw presence of Ramakant Waghulde and society staff.
